George Washington – Early Life
George Washington was born on 22nd February, 1732 CE, in Westmoreland County, Virginia. His family was too poor to afford his education so he dropped out of school at the age of 15. George Washington was known for being very active and dynamic, an action hero of his time. He had charisma and a commanding character, and also was a great dancer. Not only did George Washington dance, but also had a taste for art and interior designing. He also was always portrayed riding horses and was into gambling. He was married to Martha Washington and had no kids of his own. George Washington was very tall and considered one of the major presidents.
George Washington – The First President of United States of America, 1789 CE
George Washington is considered the embodiment of the revolution in office. He is the only American president who was unanimously elected to office on April 30, 1789 CE, which means George Washington got every single vote in the electoral. Martha Washington was his first lady. John Adams was the vice-president. George Washington was a good judge of character and talents and his cabinet was considered one of the best cabinets in US history, choosing for example Alexander Hamilton as secretary of treasury. Alex Hamilton built the framework of the national bank system in the US. He chose the capital city close to his homeland in Virginia, a swamp town currently unofficially known as City of Washington. Washington also helped in designing the roads and checked the blueprints of his new capital cities. George Washington was the only American president who did not serve in Washington.

During his term of presidency, a war erupted between England and France in 1793 CE and George Washington was put into a position in which he should pick sides. However he chose total neutrality which still put him in a difficult position. George Washington was an independent, one of his most famous quotes was, “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter”.
What most people didn’t know that he had a whiskey distillery; it produced 11,000 gallons of whiskey a year.
George Washington – One of the Richest Presidents
George Washington’s net worth based on today’s prices is worth almost 500 Million US dollars which makes him one of the richest American presidents in office. George Washington wore no wig and he was made an honorary citizen of France in 1792. He died on December 14, 1799 due to bloodletting while curing a throat infection.
Two centuries later George Washington was rewarded the highest rank in the American military ever, General of the Armies of the United States.
